City Of Monroe issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.

John R. Jurgensen Company is scheduled to begin the City of Monroe’s 2020 Paving Program starting this week (weather permitting).  At this time, the anticipated end date is October 6, 2020.

This year’s program consists of North Salzman Road from State Route 63 to the north past Kohl’s Distribution Center (consisting of milling, pavement repairs, resurfacing, striping, and sign replacement); Clark Street from State Route 63 to the south terminus (consisting of base repairs only at this time); and Lebanon Street from Breaden Drive to American Way (consisting of base repairs only at this time).

During these weeks, the crews are scheduled to be working Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.  We would ask all traveling public to please observe crews working and follow the direction of the flaggers. Expect short delays. No closures are expected at this time.
