For the second year in a row H&R Block (NYSE: HRB) has been named to Forbes list of Best Employers for Diversity 2022. The list, published annually, recognizes companies that perform well in areas such as inclusive practices and workplace culture, based on survey data collected by research firm, Statista.
“We are continually looking for new ways to advance diversity and inclusion across H&R Block. From flexible working options to new associate resource groups – we want to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and included at Block,” said Tiffany Monroe, Chief People Officer of H&R Block.
H&R Block has taken action to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment including:
- Joined Gender and Diversity KPI Alliance (GDKA), pledging to consistently use three key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve diversity in the workplace.
- Announcing its Equality Action Plan two years ago, which outlines specific actions the company is taking to create racial equity, both within the company and in the communities it serves.
- Joined Catalyst CEO Champions for Change, pledging to increase the representation of women, including women of color, in senior leadership and board positions.
- Formed a Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Council to help empower all associates, strengthen communications, break down barriers, and foster a more connected culture across the organization.
