It’s that time of year again! Our first Red Brick Friday of the summer is coming up and boy is it gonna be epic.
For the first time, Enjoy Oxford, Oxford Chamber of Commerce and the City are teaming up with Miami University’s Alumni Association to bring you Red Brick Friday - Alumni Weekend Edition!
But first, what is Red Brick Friday?
Red Brick Friday is a time for us to gather Uptown Oxford: visit the shops, partake in the DORA program and experience what it is like to have the whole of High Street as our stomping ground, as it will be closed off to traffic from Beech Street to Campus Avenue.
From 6 PM - 10 PM various businesses Uptown will participate in different ways. From outdoor tables set up on the streets in front of the business to select items for sale, it is a whole new way to experience Oxford. Also remember that DORA will be in effect during this time, so grab a drink at participating businesses and venture out to the fun! (More info on DORA, can be found here!)
This Friday will be our first Red Brick Friday of the summer.
Red Brick Friday - Alumni Weekend Edition Details
- Compete in a “Remember When” sandwich board sign challenge in the Uptown area. Snap a picture at each location and post to social media using the hashtag #RedBrickFriday #MiamiOHAlumniWeekend.
- Submit your information and photos using the form here, to enter to win Miami & Oxford prize packs!
- Try some new food - Wheely Good Food Truck, Duebbie Queen and La Orangette will be parked Uptown OR visit one of our restaurants Uptown.
- Bring your kiddos to participate in some fun activities in the park!
- Listen to Miami aluma, Miss Jacque cover a whole range of musical genres - she starts at 7 PM!
