Q3: Fairfield Township experienced a 5.3% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2022 in Fairfield Township fell by $15,100 while total sales decreased by 35.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September, there were 85 homes sold, with a median sale price of $269,900 - a 5.3 percent decrease from the $285,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 132 homes sold in Fairfield Township in the third quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Fairfield Township for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,158, approximately 1.2 percent of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2022.
