Fairfield median home prices rose by 13.5% in Q3

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2022 in Fairfield rose by $24,995 while total sales decreased by 13.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September, there were 175 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 13.5 percent increase over the $185,005 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 203 homes sold in Fairfield in the third quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Fairfield for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,185, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2022.
