Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, recently shared his views on various political matters via social media. Davidson replaced John Boehner in Congress and has previously served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees.
On December 8, 2024, Davidson commended Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his stance against pressure from the Obama-Biden administration. He remarked, "Kudos to @netanyahu for ignoring the Obama-Biden pressure to weaken Israel while strengthening Iran." Additionally, he noted concerns about Al-Qaeda-aligned rebels in Syria but acknowledged Assad's defense of Christian communities.
Later that day, Davidson addressed the issue of birthright citizenship in the United States. He asserted that "Birthright citizenship must end to restore American sovereignty and eliminate one of the biggest lures of illegal immigration."
In another post on December 8, Davidson proposed structural changes to healthcare committees in Congress. He suggested "How about a single, dedicated, and focused Healthcare Committee in the US House and a counterpart in the US Senate?" citing current jurisdictional splits as obstacles to change and accountability.
