Rep. Warren Davidson from Ohio has been appointed to two subcommittees under the House Foreign Affairs Committee for the 119th Congress. The selection was made by Rep. Brian Mast, who chairs the committee.
Davidson will serve on the Subcommittee on Oversight and Intelligence and the Subcommittee on Europe. These roles come with a focus on strengthening U.S. foreign policy and addressing national security issues.
"I am honored Chairman Mast selected me to serve on the Subcommittee on Oversight and Intelligence and the Subcommittee on Europe for the 119th Congress," stated Rep. Davidson. He expressed eagerness to collaborate with colleagues, including Chairman Cory Mills of the Oversight and Intelligence Subcommittee and Chairman Keith Self of the Europe Subcommittee.
Chairman Cory Mills welcomed Davidson, highlighting his background as an Army combat veteran: “I am honored to welcome Congressman Warren Davidson (OH-08), a fellow Army combat veteran, to the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Intelligence. We will work together to address critical national security challenges our nation is facing and restore transparency to the American people.”
Keith Self also voiced his anticipation of working alongside Davidson in their shared commitment to "America First" policies: “I look forward to working with Congressman Davidson on the Subcommittee on Europe,” said Chairman Keith Self (R-TX). “Warren’s unwavering commitment to America First foreign policy objectives will make him an outstanding partner on this subcommittee. I have no doubt he is ready and able to deliver positive results.”
Davidson's appointment signals a continued focus within these subcommittees towards reinforcing U.S. interests abroad.
