On January 24, 2025, Davidson expressed support for Tulsi Gabbard with a succinct endorsement: "100%. Confirm @TulsiGabbard!"

Later that day, he criticized a disclosure requirement in business law as presumptive and unconstitutional. He stated: "Legal clarity would eliminate this poorly crafted heinous mandate. The disclosure requirement presumes all businesses are involved in illicit finance. The Constitution says get a warrant or subpoena, upon reasonable suspicion."
