On February 13, 2025, Davidson expressed his approval of President Trump's administration efforts to fulfill campaign promises. He noted the initiative to "Drain the Swamp" was actively being pursued within the executive branch. Davidson emphasized that Congress should align its funding and policy measures to ensure these promises are realized. "Watching President Trump and his executive branch deliver on promises made is awesome! Drain the Swamp is finally underway robustly - in the executive branch."

Later that day, Davidson commended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for defending privacy rights and criticized Congress for not adequately protecting civil liberties against surveillance capitalism. In another post on February 13, he reflected on past federal workforce changes during President Clinton's administration. Davidson remarked on how more than 100,000 federal employees accepted buyout offers under Clinton's leadership, which he claimed facilitated a shift towards a more activist-oriented federal workforce.
