Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 8th district, shared several updates on social media over February 14 and 15, 2025. His posts touched on topics including collaboration with local leaders and discussions about free speech.

On February 14, Davidson congratulated Jim Tressel via social media. He expressed his eagerness to work alongside Tressel and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in addressing challenges faced by the residents of Ohio. "Congratulations, @JimTressel5! I look forward to working with you and @GovMikeDeWine to solve problems and serve Ohians."

Later that day, Davidson highlighted an event involving Vice President J.D. Vance in Munich where Vance defended First Amendment values. Davidson emphasized the community's response to controversial speech in southwest Ohio, noting how they countered it with more dialogue. "Today in Munich, Vice President @JDVance defended the values protected by our First Amendment... In the face of appalling speech, the community swiftly rejected it with more speech."

On February 15, Davidson referenced a question posed by J.D. Vance regarding what is being defended in certain debates. He suggested that some individuals may have taken offense because they are inadvertently supporting what he described as "insanity." "When @JDVance asked, “What are we defending?”, some were offended because they are actually defending this insanity!"
