On March 11, 2025, Davidson expressed optimism about the current state of government reform by stating that "Every day brings great news! A smaller, more accountable government is being restored!"
Later that same day, he participated in a hearing on payments with the Financial Committee. He highlighted fundamental principles regarding transaction rights and cash usage: "In today’s @FinancialCmte hearing on payments: - First Principles - No government grants permission to transact. People have a right to transact, that may be infringed for cause. - Cash is King - Cash is permission-less, no 3rd Party needs to approve cash."
On March 12, 2025, Davidson addressed issues surrounding national debt and deficits. He praised former President Trump’s efforts in promoting governmental accountability while encouraging Congress to take similar permanent actions: "No one cares more about public enemy #1 - the debt and deficits bankrupting our nation...President Trump is delivering a smaller, more accountable government (to the extent possible) with executive action."
