Warren Davidson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, shared several statements on social media, touching upon both political alliances and fiscal policies. Davidson, succeeding John Boehner, continues to use his platform to discuss his views and concerns about governmental focus and US fiscal policy.
On April 7, 2025, Davidson acknowledged John Rich's efforts to disseminate information, stating: "Thanks @johnrich for breaking past the gatekeepers and politely dropping a truth bomb. No doubt, this is part of the origin story for the essential MAGA + MAHA alliance...".
In another statement dated April 8, 2025, Davidson expressed his dissatisfaction with some members of Congress regarding government's size, saying: "If you find a member of Congress opposed to less government now, they want more government. Sadly, this population apparently includes some Republicans."
Further addressing fiscal policies, on the same day, Davidson criticized the commitment of Congress to reduce spending, remarking: "The House only committed to save $1.5 trillion over 10 years. Now, the Senate wants to boast of only saving at least $4 billion over 10 years. CBO estimates Congress will spend nearly $90 trillion over that 10 year period. Neither plan averts the looming crash site."
