Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 8th district since 2016, has shared his thoughts on federal spending and international relations through recent tweets. Davidson, who succeeded John Boehner, is known for his active engagement on social media.

On May 9, 2025, Davidson addressed the issue of federal spending by highlighting its increase from $4.8 trillion before the COVID-19 pandemic to $7.3 trillion in the current year. He posed the question: "Given that federal spending before COVID was $4.8 trillion and has skyrocketed to $7.3 trillion this year… How much should we cut federal spending?"

Later that day, he expressed enthusiasm about political developments with a tweet stating: "Every day brings great news! 47 Making America Great Again is the best sequel ever!" This tweet suggests support for ongoing efforts related to former President Donald Trump's policies.

In another tweet posted on May 10, 2025, Davidson shared his views on foreign policy by cautioning against unnecessary military engagements. He stated: "We don’t need to accept every invitation to war and we certainly shouldn’t seek out more wars in more places. God bless President Donald J. Trump!" This message indicates his preference for a restrained approach in foreign affairs.

Warren Davidson has served in Congress since replacing John Boehner in 2016 and previously held a position on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.
