On May 14, 2025, Davidson criticized proposed spending cuts as insufficiently robust. He stated: "Ridiculously weak. They want to promise to begin cutting spending four years from now, knowing those hollow promises will likely be broken. Democrats didn’t phase in the spending. They boasted of shoving it as gold bricks off the Titanic." He concluded with a call to action: "Cut spending!!!!"

In another tweet posted at 1:16 PM, Davidson addressed economic concerns by stating: "Deficits produce debt. Both fuel inflation. Inflation is a form of taxation - sophisticated theft." He emphasized the consequences of inflated asset values on wealth disparity and advocated for fiscal reforms with the statement: "Fix the money! More freedom. Less government. Sound money. Secure borders."
