Warren Davidson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, has recently expressed his views on several political and economic issues through a series of tweets. Davidson, who succeeded John Boehner in Congress, has been vocal about fiscal policies and the state of governance in America.

On June 9, 2025, Davidson questioned the impact of smaller deficits managed by the current Congress with his tweet: "But with smaller deficits this Congress? Afterall, it's the only one we control..." This statement suggests a critical view of congressional fiscal management under his party's control.

In another tweet from the same day, Davidson commented on California's governance and its implications for the rest of the country. He stated: "Doesn't look like America. Wait, California is in America. They have destroyed their state and seek to do the same to the country. There will be none of that. Help is on the way! Make America America Again." This reflects his concerns about California's policies potentially affecting national governance.

Later that day, Davidson addressed economic policy through another tweet emphasizing fiscal discipline: "Clever essays may work for journalists and politics, but markets do math. Cut spending! The central planners at the Federal Reserve may influence market rates, but they don’t set market rates. The remedy is known: cut spending." Here he underscores his belief in reducing government expenditure as a solution to economic challenges.

Warren Davidson was born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently resides in Troy. Before serving in Congress, he was part of Concord Township's Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.
