On June 12, 2025, Davidson expressed skepticism about the existence of a "Cartel Caucus" in the Senate with his tweet: " I didn’t know the Senate had a Cartel Caucus to protect the interests of the cartels, but maybe so…".
Later that day, at 20:46 UTC, he tweeted about immigration enforcement with a succinct statement: "Not tired of deporting yet...".
On June 13, 2025, at 00:57 UTC, Davidson expressed concern over certain lawmakers' attitudes towards military conflict. He wrote: "I’m sad to say but some members of Congress and US Senators seem giddy about the prospects of a bigger war."
Davidson has been an active figure in U.S. politics since succeeding John Boehner in Congress. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and residing in Troy, he also served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.
