Warren Davidson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 8th district, has been vocal on various national issues through his social media posts. Known for succeeding John Boehner in 2016, Davidson has consistently shared his views on economic policies and foreign affairs.

On June 13, 2025, Davidson expressed his concerns about inflation through a tweet: " Inflation is a tax - truly sophisticated theft. Imagine if Congress had taxed beef at that rate? In reality, excessive spending has done that to nearly everything. Giant deficits fuel inflation. Cut spending." He highlighted the impact of government spending on inflation and suggested reducing expenditures as a solution.

The following day, June 14, he posted another tweet questioning national priorities with the brief statement: "America First?" This post likely alludes to discussions around domestic versus international focus in policy-making.

Later on June 14, Davidson commented on international military involvement with a tweet stating: "This is not America’s war to fight or fund. We can wish our friends safety and success without blurring tactical support with tactical participation. Stay focused." Here, he cautioned against direct military engagement while advocating for moral support.

Warren Davidson was born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently resides in Troy. Before joining Congress in 2016, he served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.
