Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district and Chairman for National Security and Illicit Finance, recently shared updates on national security, energy policy, and political shifts in Ohio through a series of posts on his social media account.
On August 14, 2025, Davidson highlighted his role in a recent congressional event by stating: "As Chairman for National Security and Illicit Finance, it was an honor to host today's field hearing on modernizing the Defense Production Act here in Ohio @wpafb. Thanks to all who made it a great success!" This field hearing focused on efforts to update the Defense Production Act at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Later that day, Davidson addressed U.S. energy policy priorities. He wrote: "There is only one country pursuing energy dominance. America needs to generate more electricity. Strong baseload from nuclear, natural gas, and coal should be our priority."
In another post from August 14, Davidson commented on political changes within his district: "Both realities exist in #OH08. Thankfully, the MAGA movement has transformed Ohio - no longer a swing state.
Hopefully, the restoration of law and order in DC will motivate a similar restoration in Cincinnati."
Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District since 2016 after succeeding John Boehner. Before serving in Congress, he was part of the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson continues to focus on issues relevant to both national policy and local constituents.
