Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted several statements on August 15, 2025, addressing concerns over monetary policy and ongoing investigations into alleged illicit finance activities.

In a post published at 01:46 UTC, Davidson wrote: "Sound money is essential to defending freedom. Sadly, the USD is devalued by massive fiscal spending (Congress) and malicious monetary policy (Federal Reserve). An independent central bank would float rates, wouldn't control banks, and wouldn't print money to cover deficits."

Later that day at 12:18 UTC, Davidson commented on an investigation related to Act Blue: "Finally! We have sought this illicit finance investigation of Act Blue since 2017. Journalists and whistleblowers have already exposed the fraud. Now the culprits must be identified and prosecuted. Any illicit scheme must be shut down."

At 12:22 UTC on the same day, he shared a summary regarding efforts focused on Act Blue: "A solid summary of ongoing efforts to expose Act Blue and hold them accountable:"

Davidson has been vocal about financial oversight during his tenure in Congress after succeeding John Boehner in 2016. He previously served as a trustee for Concord Township in Ohio from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney in 1970 and currently residing in Troy, Davidson continues to represent constituents of Ohio’s 8th District.
