Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of tweets on August 17 and 18, 2025, addressing concerns about the state of American governance and monetary policy.
On August 17, Davidson wrote, "Sound money is essential to defending freedom. Instead, we have this... https://t.co/KGicIK52U0". Later that day, he called for legal action against government corruption: "Unless @AGPamBondi can prosecute, convict, and jail some of these smooth criminals, our country needs a new form of government - swiftly. We don’t need another list, hearing, or report… We need evidence presented at trials. https://t.co/H9lYyYkRW1".
The following day, Davidson shared another message with the brief statement: "An example: https://t.co/Fs94ranzie" (August 18).
Davidson has represented Ohio's 8th Congressional District since replacing John Boehner in 2016 and previously served as a trustee for Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson has maintained an active presence both in Congress and his home community.
