Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing expectations for excellence, fair competition for American companies, and the H1B visa program.
On August 21, 2025, Davidson wrote: "To achieve excellence, expect excellence."
Later that day, he commented on developments impacting American businesses: "Good news. Structural certainty while expecting fair competition for American companies. MAGA."
In another post from the same date, Davidson questioned the necessity of a specific immigration program: " Why, in your opinion, does the United States need the H1B visa? Which critical skill can only be sourced outside the United States?"
Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016 and previously served as a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson is known for his commentary on economic and legislative matters.
