Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, recently addressed several policy issues and concerns in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.

On September 5, 2025, Davidson called for legislative action regarding Social Security, stating: "Congress must take action to prevent future cuts to Social Security. Since Social Security is considered mandatory spending, Congress should combine FY2026 appropriations with another reconciliation bill where the explicit purpose is twofold: 1. Protect Social Security, and 2."

The following day, September 6, Davidson engaged his audience with a post referencing former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi: "I have questions for @AGPamBondi. What are your questions for @AGPamBondi ? https://t.co/uU0S2tx4cc"

Later that same day, Davidson commented on the threat posed by drug cartels: "Cartels have been rightly defined as enemies of our country. They are killing Americans with poison drugs, violating our sovereignty with an invasion, and fueling crime throughout our hemisphere - with domestic accomplices. https://t.co/PoCNKKyUvI"

Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016 and previously served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson continues to be active on social media platforms to communicate policy priorities and solicit public input.
