On September 7, Davidson wrote, "Good news Chicago! Not only is President Trump sending help to clean up your city, the efforts to clean up your river have been working." The tweet referenced both federal assistance to the city and ongoing environmental improvements.
Later that day, he tweeted, "Best sequel ever! https://t.co/R5F9ArIcNH" on September 7 at 22:32 UTC. The following morning, Davidson added another post stating, "No sanctuary farms. No sanctuary factories. No amnesty. Best sequel ever! https://t.co/MFxX1AwlEt" on September 8 at 01:23 UTC.
Davidson has represented Ohio's 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016. Before his congressional service, he was a trustee for Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson continues to engage with national and local issues through social media.
