Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account addressing political polarization, government spending, and the actions of Democrats and Republicans.

On September 19, 2025, Davidson wrote: "The radical left uses words like 'coexist' or 'both sides' to mean the same thing: submit. Republican passiveness has enabled the radical left's long march through the institutions. No more! Freedom surrendered is rarely reclaimed, so there can be no substitute for victory!"

Later that day, he commented on current legislative negotiations regarding government funding: "This CR allows me and others pushing for lower spending to persuade a majority of Republicans to work together rather than join Democrats on their path to bankruptcy and government dependence. Meanwhile, other Republicans are pushing a compromise plan to arrive at the same $1.5"

On September 20, Davidson addressed former President Donald Trump’s stance toward Antifa and called for further legal action: "President Trump has made Democrats own their endless defense of Antifa. Well done Mr President. Now, @AGPamBondi, when are they going to jail? We want to know every cell, every indoctrination program, all sources of funding, all uses of funds, every crime, and every criminal."

Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016. Before his congressional service, he was a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson continues to play an active role in national political debates.
