Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of statements on his social media account on October 1, 2025, addressing issues related to the Federal Reserve and healthcare funding for undocumented immigrants.

In a post made at 05:19 UTC, Davidson commented on the relationship between executive authority and the Federal Reserve's ongoing development of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). He wrote, "Once it's clear that the Federal Reserve is subject to executive authority, we can apply the executive order banning Central Bank Digital Currency. The Federal Reserve continues its development of CBDC as if that EO doesn't apply to them. They also equivocate with the wholesale".

Later in the day at 12:25 UTC, Davidson referenced party alignment regarding an unspecified issue, stating, "It appears Democrats have chosen the 8% side of this 92% issue. When will they realize it and change course? ".

At 15:33 UTC on October 1st, Davidson addressed Democratic support for healthcare funding for undocumented immigrants. He stated: "The truth about Democrat support for funding healthcare for illegals.

1. Some states fund Medicaid for illegals.

2. Those states were able to count their payments to Medicaid for illegals as part of the cost share where the federal government pays (70% for example) when the state".

Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016 and previously served as a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, he currently resides in Troy.
