Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, addressed a range of political and international issues in a series of posts on October 7, 2025.
In one post, Davidson questioned the ideological basis for government involvement in private enterprise, writing, "@grok what ideology supports government owning all or portions of companies?" (October 7, 2025).
Later the same day, Davidson commented on government surveillance and the Patriot Act, stating, "God has a sense of humor. Repeal the Patriot Act! Get a warrant." (October 7, 2025).
Davidson also reflected on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, marking the anniversary of attacks by Hamas. He wrote, "Two years ago, Hamas massacred innocent civilians across many points from Gaza into Israel. Israel’s declaration of war against Hamas was just. Hamas continues to hold hostages, including some who have already died. Pure evil." (October 7, 2025).
Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016 and previously served as a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson currently resides in Troy.
