Cost of college went up for all students at the Aveda Fredric's Institute-Cincinnati

Tuition and fees rose 4.5 percent for 2018-19 at the Aveda Fredric's Institute-Cincinnati, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $19,850 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $850 more than the $19,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 78 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 17 students received grants or scholarships totaling $87,896 and 38 students took out student loans totaling more than $348,464.

Including all undergraduates (261), 116 students used grants or scholarships totaling $575,434, and 179 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
