Fairfield median home prices rose by 24.6% in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Fairfield rose by $34,900 while total sales decreased by 14.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 145 homes sold, with a median sale price of $176,900 - a 24.6% increase over the $142,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 169 homes sold in Fairfield in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Fairfield for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,185, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
