Q2: Home prices in Morgan increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Morgan rose by $269,545 while total sales decreased by 28.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $438,000 - a 160 percent increase over the $168,455 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Morgan in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Morgan for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,634, approximately 0.6 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
