Median home prices in Monroe rose to $265,750 in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Monroe rose by $12,750 while total sales decreased by 23.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,750 - a five percent increase over the $253,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Monroe in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Monroe for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,745, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
