Q3: Middletown experienced a 5.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2022 in Middletown rose by $7,217 while total sales decreased by 11.4 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September, there were 234 homes sold, with a median sale price of $133,000 - a 5.7 percent increase over the $125,783 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 264 homes sold in Middletown in the third quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Middletown for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,264, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2022.
