State Representative Jennifer Gross has announced the approval of two economic development projects in Butler County by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA).

The first project involves LetsGetChecked, Inc., a global healthcare company that provides at-home health testing kits for various health conditions. The TCA has approved a 1.44 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit to support the new location of the company in Fairfield. This initiative is expected to create 74 full-time-equivalent positions and generate more than $4.5 million in new annual payroll.

In the second project, SkyCell North America, Inc. has received a 1.207 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit to establish its new location in West Chester Township. This Swiss company, which specializes in temperature-controlled hybrid containers for pharmaceuticals, is anticipated to create 30 full-time-equivalent positions and bring in $2.1 million in new annual payroll.

Jennifer Gross emphasized the community benefits, stating, “Both of these projects will directly improve the health and wellbeing of our communities and state as a whole, while ensuring we remain up to date on developing healthcare technology and practices.”
