Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 8th district since 2016, recently shared his views on political strategies and international relations through a series of tweets. Davidson, who succeeded John Boehner in Congress, is known for his focus on constitutional governance and peace advocacy.

On June 13, 2025, Davidson commented on the strategic approach of the House GOP in Washington D.C., stating "I’ll admit this is an interesting variation. Normally the @HouseGOP play call in DC is 'surrender now, but we promise to fight later'. This totally shakes things up: 'Fight now, but we promise to surrender later'. The Surrender Caucus has way too much influence here."

Later that morning, he expressed hope for peaceful resolutions concerning Iran. He tweeted "Good morning everyone. Pray for peace. It’s not always possible. Iran can still change course. The United States is not at war but rather working for a peaceful resolution. 'If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.' - Romans 12:18"

In another tweet from the same day, Davidson emphasized the importance of maintaining a government that aligns with constitutional limits by stating "To restore a government small enough to fit within the Constitution, it’s essential to stay focused:"

Warren Davidson was born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently resides in Troy. Before serving in Congress, he was part of the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.
