Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district, posted a series of statements on social media in early September 2025 criticizing government spending and warning of potential economic consequences.

On September 1, Davidson wrote, "Bad news doesn't get better with time... until Congress cuts spending."

The following day, he commented on the state of financial markets and government policy: "Markets run on math. The journalism and political science majors can spin big government all the way to the crash site, Nevertheless, markets are screaming: CUT SPENDING! & FIX THE MONEY!" Later that same day, Davidson cited another commentator in a post stating, “Gold knows this is just the beginning of the global deficit spending crisis.” - @KobeissiLetter

Davidson has served in Congress since 2016 after succeeding John Boehner and previously held a position on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson currently resides in Troy.
