Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of messages on social media expressing concern and condolences for Charlie Kirk between September 10 and September 11, 2025.
On September 10, Davidson called for prayers in a post directed at Charlie Kirk and others he felt were at risk: "Please pray for @charliekirk11 and anyone else at risk. Evil." Later the same day, he offered words of encouragement to Kirk: "Indeed! Thank you @charliekirk11. Praying for your full, swift healing and recovery. "
By the following day, Davidson shared his reaction to further developments regarding Kirk: "A tragically sad day for our country... Without question, Charlie made a tremendous difference. His faith, words, and presence will endure. May God bless and comfort, especially family."
Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since replacing John Boehner in 2016. Before his congressional service, he was a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson is currently a resident of Troy.
