On September 11, 2025, Davidson posted, "Gradually, then suddenly…".
The following day, he wrote, "The radical left’s 'long march through our institutions' worked. Freedom surrendered is rarely reclaimed, but that is the task before us." This post appears to reference a belief that left-leaning influences have made significant inroads into American institutions and emphasizes the challenge of regaining lost freedoms.
Later on September 12, Davidson commented on public reactions to recent events involving Charlie Kirk, stating: "Millions of people are trying to process their newfound awareness that people celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder would celebrate theirs, yours, or mine."
Davidson has served in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016. Prior to his congressional role, he was a trustee for Concord Township in Ohio from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson now resides in Troy.
