Butler County has been awarded funding to support a local transportation project aimed at fostering job growth and retention, according to State Representative Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester).

The county will receive $400,000 through the Transportation Improvement District (TID) Program for the Seward at Tylersville Roundabout in the City of Fairfield.

“I am very pleased to continue to see innovative investments into Butler County,” said Gross. “Transportation infrastructure is a key factor of economic development.”

This project is expected to generate $61 million in capital investment and support 397 jobs in the 45th House district.
