Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of tweets on September 15 and 16, 2025, addressing the legacy of Charlie Kirk and responding to recent events.
On September 15, Davidson expressed appreciation for his vice-president in a message that read: "My Vice-President, my friend, my brother… Well said. Thank you! ".
Later that evening and into the next day, Davidson turned his attention to Charlie Kirk. On September 16 he asked: "Who killed Charlie Kirk?". In a subsequent tweet the same day, he reflected on Kirk's impact: "Charlie Kirk made a difference in the lives of millions of Americans by sharing his love for: Jesus. Family. America. Civil discourse."
Warren Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016. Before serving in Congress, he was a trustee for Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson is known for engaging with constituents on social media regarding national figures and current events.
