Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of statements on September 17, 2025, addressing issues related to artificial intelligence safeguards and constitutional governance.

In his first post of the day, Davidson highlighted concerns about the lack of congressional action regarding AI oversight. He wrote, "What safeguards does AI need? iRobot had three. So far, Congress has defined none. Privacy is the base layer for ethical AI. Congress needs swift action on both." (September 17, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Davidson marked Constitution Day with a call to revisit foundational principles. He stated: "1. Celebrate Constitution Day. 2. Read the Constitution. 3. Restore a government small enough to fit within the Constitution." He added a quote from Charlie Kirk: "…we no longer have a Christian nation, but we have a Christian form of government, and they are incompatible." (September 17, 2025).

A third post was published later in the evening with the brief message: "Checks notes... Fact!" (September 17, 2025).

Davidson has represented Ohio's 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016 and previously served as a trustee for Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson frequently addresses topics concerning privacy rights and constitutional adherence.
