City of Monroe issued the following announcement on Feb. 25
South Union Road will be closed from Nickel Road to Navigator Way beginning Monday March 7, 2022 and will remain closed through September 1, 2022 for roadway improvements. South Union Road will remain open to local traffic from State Route 63 to Navigator Way during this construction. Some delays are to be expected in this stretch of roadway due to construction activities. Proper detour signs will be posted along the detour route.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we expect this portion of Union Road to be a major improvement.
