Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of critical remarks on social media on September 3 and 4, 2025. The posts addressed political and economic issues, including the value of money and political discourse in the Senate.
On September 3, Davidson wrote, "This is the future Democrats want for America." Later that evening, he commented on housing prices and inflation with the statement: "It’s the money. Houses aren’t worth more. Your money is worth less…"
The following day, Davidson criticized Senate communication practices by stating, "Don’t let the facts get in the way of a Senator whose staff has already scripted a sound bite…"
Davidson succeeded John Boehner in Congress after winning a special election in 2016. Before his tenure in Congress, he served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson currently resides in Troy.
