The Rosemont Nature Preserve is located at 6388 Hamilton-Middletown Road (State Route 4).  This park consists of 13 acres and boasts nature trails that are cut through the wooded terrain.  There is a small pond that hosts fish, turtles, and other aquatic life.  A detention pond that holds excess runoff of rainwater from the property has an educational sign which describes how the pond functions.  Recent update have been to add signage along the trails to identify different plant and tree species.  This signage project is a work in progress as we intend to identify many more trees, shrubs and plants throughout the year.  If you have not been to Rosemont Nature Preserve, come take a look!  Many Monroe residents  enjoy taking their pets to walk the trails at this beautiful nature preserve.
