Washington, D.C. — On June 21, Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH) voted in favor of H.J.Res. 521 to censure Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) for his repeated lies to Congress and the American people.
“Adam Schiff’s repeated lies and misconduct cannot go without consequence,” said Rep. Warren Davidson. “This censure is the first step to holding Schiff accountable for abusing his position on the intel committee and in Congress. That’s why I cosponsored this resolution and voted YES to censure Adam Schiff.”
H.J.Res. 521 resolves that: (1) the House of Representatives censures Schiff, (2) Schiff presents himself for the censure, (3) a public reading of H.J.Res. 521 occurs by the Speaker of the House, (4) and the Committee on Ethics investigates Schiff for his lies. Rep. Davidson voted to table the previous resolution to censure Rep. Schiff last week due to the inclusion of unconstitutional fines within the prior resolution.
