Davidson criticized the House for missing an opportunity to implement border security measures in the government funding bill, stating, "Today, the House missed another opportunity to attach commonsense border security policies to a government funding bill." He lamented the decision, attributing it to a choice to maintain the current ineffective state of border security.

The Ohio representative further emphasized his stance by stating, "Congress should not be funding Biden’s corrupt administration until the border is secured." Davidson's strong words reflect his belief in prioritizing border security before allocating resources to other government initiatives.
