State Representative Jennifer Gross from West Chester has introduced a new piece of legislation aimed at promoting Second Amendment rights and responsible gun ownership. The proposed bill, which Gross is sponsoring alongside State Representative Darnell T. Brewer from Cleveland, seeks to provide a tax exemption for firearm safety devices.

The bill outlines that items such as gun safes, locks, and other safety devices would be exempt from sales and use tax. "This legislation directly uplifts our second amendment rights by providing financial relief to Ohio gunowners while simultaneously promoting responsible gun ownership," stated Gross.

Currently, the legislation is awaiting assignment of a bill number and a House committee for further discussion.
