State Representative Jennifer Gross has announced a significant economic development initiative in Butler County. GE Aerospace, in collaboration with JobsOhio, will lead the project in West Chester.
GE Aerospace plans to invest more than $113 million into its Cincinnati operations and an additional $14 million into its West Chester facility. The funds will be used to upgrade and install new equipment at these locations. The company also intends to hire over 5,000 workers for manufacturing and engineering positions.
“I’d like to thank GE Aerospace for investing in the 45th House District and continuing to build up the area’s economy by providing quality job opportunities for thousands,” said Gross.
