Warren Davidson, who has represented Ohio’s 8th District in the U.S. Congress since 2016 after succeeding John Boehner, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing issues related to government size, fiscal policy, and Senate actions. Davidson, born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy, previously served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.

On July 14, 2025, Davidson posted a message outlining his perspective on government reform: "To restore a government small enough to fit within the Constitution: More freedom. Less government. Sound Money. Secure borders. Strong families."

Later that day, he commented on current legislative efforts in the Senate regarding federal spending cuts: "The Senate is seriously struggling to pass a 0.13% spending cut, defunding USAID and NPR. The Senate often fails, even when President Trump asks them nicely..." This post was made on July 14, 2025.

On July 15, 2025, Davidson shared another brief statement accompanied by an emoji: " Interesting..."

Davidson continues to be an active voice for his constituents in Ohio’s 8th District through both legislative action and public commentary.
