Warren Davidson, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 8th District, has addressed several national issues in recent social media posts. Davidson, who has represented his district since 2016 after succeeding John Boehner, commented on defense supply chains, regulatory treatment of financial institutions, and government spending.
On July 15, 2025, Davidson remarked on defense readiness and production logistics: "You go to war with the supply chain you have, not with the supply chain you wish you had. We’re working to modernize the Defense Production Act."
Later that day, Davidson discussed regulatory actions affecting Custodia Bank: "The dishonest treatment of Custodia Bank highlights the need for Congressional action. However, the same players who blocked market access in the past are working to shape the laws that will govern the future. Details matter."
In a subsequent post on July 15, Davidson critiqued federal fiscal policy and spending: "A fatal overdose of government... The antidote is unpopular. Inflation is a debt bomb - public debt and private debt - juicing current consumption with the generally false hope of a soft landing. Which spending do you support cutting? Right now the Senate can't defund NPR."
Davidson was born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently resides in Troy. He previously served on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005.
