Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district, made a series of posts on social media addressing topics ranging from the Trump Administration’s record to central bank digital currencies and high-profile prosecutions.

On July 16, 2025, Davidson wrote: "Promises made. Promises kept. Those words define the Trump Administration. Personally, I care more about convictions than a list, but people deserve the truth."

Later that same day, he commented on the Federal Reserve and central banks’ exploration of digital currency initiatives: "Don't design it. Don't build it. Nevertheless, the Federal Reserve and Central Banks are designing, building, and even testing a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Pass Emmer's Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act!"

On July 17, Davidson returned to the topic of accountability in legal proceedings related to public figures: "More than a list, this my litmus test. When prosecutions? When convictions? In short, when is someone (other than Ghislaine Maxwell) going to jail?"

Davidson has represented Ohio's 8th District in Congress since 2016 after succeeding John Boehner and previously served as a trustee for Concord Township in Ohio from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney in 1970, he resides in Troy.
