Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted several statements on his Twitter account on July 17, 2025, addressing government accountability and Congressional committee structure.
In one post from the early morning, Davidson wrote, "Nevertheless, a solid, pragmatic explanation of the present situation…" (July 17, 2025).
Later that day, Davidson commented on issues surrounding high-profile investigations by stating, "If there will be no accountability for the Epstein Alliance, we don't need a list, we need a Constitutional Convention." (July 17, 2025).
Addressing healthcare policy and Congressional procedures in another tweet posted midday, Davidson said: "And Congress still doesn’t have a Healthcare Committee, solely focused on fixing healthcare… a rule change I propose every Congress. Did things get better this Congress or not? Align authority with responsibility so there can finally be accountability. 1 committee, 1 Chairman!" (July 17, 2025).
Davidson has served as the representative for Ohio's 8th district since replacing John Boehner in 2016. Before his tenure in Congress, he was part of the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson has consistently advocated for changes to legislative processes and government oversight.
